This product is made especially for you as soon as you place an order, which is why it takes us a bit longer to deliver it to you. Making products on demand instead of in bulk helps reduce overproduction, so thank you for making thoughtful purchasing decisions!

Sarah Green is an illustrator and designer based in Vancouver, Canada. Symbolic plants selected with the help of Shani Mink, Executive Director and co-founder of the Jewish Farmer Network.

The botanicals featured in this Tishrei art print include:

Apples: Apples and honey are a hallmark of Rosh Hashanah celebrations (the Jewish New Year, beginning on the New Moon of Tishrei)! We eat them together in the hope that the Divine (specifically Shekhinah, the feminine aspect of the Divine) will look down on us with sweetness.

Pomegranates: Eaten on Rosh Hashanah, pomegranates are said to contain 613 seeds — just like the 613 mitzvot (sacred obligations) put forth in Jewish wisdom.
